My services.
Communication is a relational discipline. I help leadership teams and boards in their dialogue with the capital markets, public authorities and the media - and in special situations where values, leeway and reputation are at stake. The aim is a lower cost of capital and greater room to manoeuvre. Mandates are few and clearly defined - as a project contributor, a permanent extra resource, or in interim leadership roles.
I advise on corporate communication, public affairs, investor relations and issues management.
Public Affairs
I conduct political analysis and impact assessments, and develop strategies. In my work, I draft reports, memos and consultation papers, and act as a sounding board when the organisation needs to adapt to - or influence - its regulatory environment.
Issues management
When significant value is at stake in disputes and critical processes (M&A, activism, conflicts, regulatory pressure), I organise the facts, sharpen the message and drive execution - so that values and leeway are protected.
Investor Relations
A company’s relationship with - and communication with - the capital markets is relationship work, with the aim of maximising owners’ loyalty to the company. The goals are a lower cost of capital and greater room to manoeuvre.
Engagements: One-off projects, a permanent extra resource in the reporting cycle, or interim Head of IR.
Deliverables: I set up the IR function together with the CFO; assess vendors and set up solutions; draft reports; develop presentations; prepare the CFO/CEO for meetings; support the CFO in dialogue with the board; develop the addressable investor base and handle issuers’ ongoing obligations efficiently.
